Taxonomical remarks on Allium yamadagensis Yıldırım & Ekşi, (Amaryllidaceae) from Turkey

An evaluation was conducted of A. yamadagensis, which is a Critically Endangered (CR) species that endemic to Turkey, comprising an analysis its taxonomical, micromorphological, macromorphological, cytological and palynological features, in addition geographical distribution. Scanning Electron Microscopy used obtain seed pollen surface microphotographs. The shape sculpturing the periclinal walls are convex granulose. grains appears monocolpate, with polar equatorial axes 23.65 ± 0.29 14.92 0.33 µm, respectively. yamadagensis has ornamentation foveolate-microreticulate. Cytological analyses revealed diploid chromosome number 2n = 2x 16.
